With the global trade in counterfeit goods reaching these levels, the appeal of knock-offs is undeniable.

Curious about how easy it was to snag such fakes, I embarked on an online adventure to the internet underworld and quickly discovered suppliers selling everything from Alexandra McQueen shoes to the latest RayBan sunglasses on well-known e-commerce platforms.

The process was disarmingly simple, from customisation offers to the delivery of an almost indistinguishable product complete with a proof of purchase.

Don't worry, this wasn't just a shopping spree for me; but also realisation that with the uncanny resemblance to genuine products, and the attractive price point if companies want to limit the effectiveness of this industry its not in competing with quality or price but in providing unmistakable value through product ownership.

Here's how our approach changes the game:

Unforgeable Products: Each product is mirrored on the blockchain and linked to a unique QR code. This digital certificate is immutable and publicly available making it impossible to forge. The magic of blockchain means every certificate belongs to a specific, unalterable contract, ensuring authenticity directly from the source.

Uncopyable QR Codes: What about QR code duplication? Well, our system ties digital ownership to the physical product. A copied QR code is useless without verified ownership in our database, maintaining the integrity of genuine articles.

Our strategy doesn't aim to eradicate counterfeits but to diminish their appeal by showing the value of owning the real deal. Coupled with loyalty programs as mentioned, we not only validate authenticity but also encourage a lasting bond with your customers, making genuine products the coveted choice.

Whats one of the main human needs, well its food and water. Ok, what's another essential need, it's the need to feel special.

Talk is cheap, so we believe that it’s not just about telling your customers what you do but openly sharing how you’re living up to commitments you’ve made to them.

When you mint a product with us, you can choose to make such claims. These are then signed by you with a digital signature which is your commitment to your customer on the claim that you are making.

Enforceable Claims: These are concrete commitments which cannot be falsified, given that they are embedded directly into the blockchain. For example setting a max supply of a product that will be produced.

Semi-enforceable Claims: These are commitments that requires partial trust between business and customer, like claiming to source materials from a particular region of the world. While Dome Label support your commitment with digital signatures and documentation, it fundamentally relies on your statements being truthful.

Over time, we aim to integrate deeper into supply chains, leveraging IOT devices to transform these semi-enforceable claims into fully verifiable facts.

Well, that's where we come in, where you no longer need trust.

Traditional selling involves Sarah going on a treasure hunt through her purse to find some proof of purchase, a costly and lengthy authentication process, to be topped off with a photoshoot of the bag worthy of Vogue—all to prove authenticity. It's inconvenient and far from user-friendly.

Scenario 2: Sarah lists her bag with our DOME tag. She shares a simple QR code that reveals the bag's history and her ownership. Buyers scan, trust is established, and the deal is sealed. No fuss, hassle-free. Ownership changes hands smoothly, and everyone walks away happy.
